Online Dating Is n't the only way to Find Love

Many people meet their significant other online, but online dating is n't the only way to find love. A majority of couples ( 39 % ) say they met in traditional ways, such as through friends or at work. And a smaller percentage ( 2 % ) found each other at a bar, event or restaurant.

In the past time, about three in ten parents say they've used an online dating site or game. But the discuss of those who have done thus varies by age and money. Adults who are never married and those with college degrees are more likely to have tried dating sites or apps than those who do n't have a bachelor's or higher degree. People with lower wages are also more possible to employ dating apps than those with higher wages.

While most people say they've been on at least one first date that did n't go well, only 16 % have never had a bad one. According to this questionnaire, first times that do n't close also are often the outcome of a few common mistakes. These include being too nervous, spending too much time on a phone, drinking too much and making very many jokes.

It may not come as a surprise that most folks agree that a first time may involve eating. In fact, about half of those surveyed say it's the most important thing on a date. But where to go and what to order are up for debate. For example, 70 % of those 60 and older enjoy taking their deadline out to have, while solely 60 % of parents ages 18 to 29 agree with this solution.
